John 14:14 — Prayers for the Bard

“You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” – Jesus

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

I try very hard to never miss a day of blogging about the Bible. Last night, I could not finish the post. Instead, my wife and I have been moping around the house like damp dishrags.

Please lift up a prayer for God to heal the two of us. We would deeply appreciate it. As soon as I am able (Lord willing!) I will be back at the keyboard.

Food for Thought: Sometimes we ask for something and it seems like nothing happens. Sometimes it seems like God can’t wait to answer prayer. What is the difference?

  1. Keep your head up and in the game,..what ever it is,..my prayer is that it won’t keep a good man down.

I have a lyric I wrote down,..Rise and Shine from the Ashes of Grace.

    Keep smiling in Christ

  2. Psalm 37: 23-24 “The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.”

My heart goes out to you and your wife. I know that it takes much more than three minutes to prepare your daily blog. I greatly appreciate your dedication and how you give so much if yourself.

Take some time my friend, you have been an agent of growth and blessing to many. I will continue to pray for you and your family.

Our God is sovereign and there is a heavenly purpose for everything. As His people we live growing in trust as our lives are what we might consider as good times or bad times. Possibly for a short time, or possibly for years.

Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Submit to His will in all things and we live untroubled by the circumstances around us.

    Praying,

    Ron
