Update on Ling:
Ron contacted me this morning (Wednesday, July 30) and says that Ling is back in the hospital. She is not out of the woods yet. Please continue to lift Ling up in prayer as she continues to heal. Thank you!
Our brother, Ron (R2T2), is asking for prayer for his wife, Ling.
Ling has been undergoing treatments for a condition that involves the brain. Her first surgery wiped her memory clean. With God’s help and a lot of love from Ron, she slowly regained her memory over the course of several months.
On Tuesday, July 22nd, Ling is scheduled to go back into surgery again. This is the same kind of surgery as before and could affect her memory.
Ron and Ling would appreciate prayer for God’s comfort and peace between now and the day of surgery. On the 22nd, they would appreciate prayer on the day of the surgery. (Surgery will last about six hours.) Please pray for Ling to be protected during the surgery and ask God to protect her memory during and after the surgery. Afterwards, please pray for a complete and swift recovery.
If you have special prayers for her, you can leave them in the comments or leave them between you and God. Comments will be left open for the duration.

Preserve her memory. Oversee this surgery so that her memory remains intact. Provide Your peace for her and Ron as the surgery is approaching. Dear Heavenly Father thank you for Ron and Ling. Thank you for knowing them intimately, and for always being with them as Ling goes through another surgery. We pray for your protection over Ling’s memory that like your loving words written on our hearts and minds that all the loving memories stay with Ling. We all pray for a successful surgery and quick healing. I pray for Ron and Ling to be surrounded with your loving care. Thank you for always hearing our prayers and knowing our struggles. The world calls us to focus on ourselves. We worry because we do not have control. I pray that you grant Ron and Ling extra Grace to turn to you in all things. That their minds would be full of you. That your peace will flow into every part of their being. That their knowledge of you will make them complete in every way.
Father I also ask that you prepare those who will serve you by helping Ling through surgery. I pray that every day your hand would be on the doctors and nurses and support staff so that everything is ready. I ask that your angels guide and guard Ling’s mind through the surgery.

Thank you all for your encouraging prayers. Ling is very active as the surgery gets closer. We are spending much of each day training me to prepare her meals, and care for our chickens and garden.
“Like a Bull in a China closet”, but she laughs and is being patient with me.

I ask that you give Ron the understanding and wisdom he needs to accommodate Ling’s instructions. Please bless them both with laughter and love as they work together. Thank you all for your prayers. Ling will be going in for surgery Monday morning at 5:30AM, scheduled to be moved into ICU at 11:30AM.
I have great confidence God has provided the very best surgeon in this area of medicine to preform the delicate surgery and am fully confident his efforts will successfully resolve this problem once and for all.
Please pray for the guidance of God will be with the surgical team as they open her skull and stop blood vessel leakage in the brain.

As the time gets closer, life is traveling by at Mach 3. Misstated the procedure date. we have an angiogram for Monday, and procedure will be Tuesday morning beginning at 5:30 am.
The patient is strong, the doctor is the best, and our God is beyond great!

Heavenly Father, You are the God of possible, our Creator, our sustainer. Even when things may appear uncertain, I know that all things are working toward good for those that love you. That you are working them toward good. I praise you Lord for your faithfulness, I praise you for your grace, and I praise you for your love. As the time for Ling’s surgery approaches it “feels natural” to be drawn towards uncertainty. But we are no longer of this earthly nature, instead we are yours, born again into your likeness. Hello Men,
Ling is beginning to approach normal today. Her speech, conversation are working their way tp being close to normal. Will begin supervised walker training today, looking to return home early next week, hospital will be sending therapy person to work with her at home, and our prayers are for her to make a speedy recovery Again. Looking forward to bringing her home!

Thank you so much for the update on Ling’s progress. That is wonderful news! 🙂
Our God has really been moving. Ling is recovering very well. Doctors are impressed with her recovery and released hero me at noon yesterday. Sleeping well, using walker around the house and will be receiving many visitors from church today.
Therispist will contact me this week, but I really do not think we will be using her for long. Ling is happy which is her normal disposition, and assures me her spirit is more than well.
Thanks again for all the answered prayers of faithful people which have been heard and answered by God.

Ling is now home with a transmitting heart monitor. She ia resting and spending time outside as she feels up to it. Doctors do not know what caused the seizure, we will rest, definitely could be brain blood vessel related, but all looks well now. Will be back with them within 7 days, see what they say.

Praise God!
Ling is recovering quickly,. She has stopped using the walker, Rests as she needs it but spends much time attending to her garden and chickens. I do all the lifting ( over 10 pounds ) but she is very active again. Her spirits are high and we are both very thankful for all your prayers. Won’t be driving for awhile but this just gives us more time together.
