Galatians 6:12c – Going Along

The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.

Summary: “Go along to get along” is a well-known saying. It means we should compromise our beliefs if that helps us “get along” with others. Things were no different in Paul’s day.

Galatians 6:12b – Circumcision of the Heart

… circumcised.

Summary: Circumcision is a theme that runs throughout the Bible. In the beginning, it was a symbol of a covenant. In the end, circumcision was a point of contention. Instead of a symbol of something good, it had become a legalistic requirement for something bad.
