Ephesians 3:16b – The Spirit of Power

… through his Spirit in your inner being,

Summary: The greatest deception was a simple one, and it continues to deceive millions as we wonder what is all the excitement about.

“I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.”

Summary: Today, we take an imaginary trip back in time to a little country far, far away.

…and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh …

Summary: We live in two worlds. God calls us to live in the spiritual realm. Satan temps us with the desires of the flesh.

… but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Summary: They say that “seeing is believing.” Not everything can be seen.

… as long as I live in the tent of this body…

Summary: The simplest form of shelter, and the most ancient, is the tent. It is still with us today.

… having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Summary: As we read Peter’s words, it is important to remember that we exist in two forms at once. We are both flesh and spirit.
