  1. I am thankful that you know your limits and when you need a break. Much peace to you my friend.

  2. Hang in there, you are great at what you do here for us and your service is needed.

I agree with R, about knowing the limits and taking a break as well as much peace to you.

    Keep smiling in Christ.

  3. 11-18-2022, What can we do to grow our faith stronger?

Exercise Spiritual control over our physical bodies as we grow in the Holy Spirit and faith.

Peter tells us we “ought to live holy and godly lives” while we wait for the Lord’s return. 2 Peter 3:11

As followers of Jesus we don’t wait idly for Jesus’ return, nor do we live like the corrupt teachers who saw Jesus’ delay as an opportunity to indulge the flesh. No, we now feed our spirits as we focus on devoting our time to our Lord in bible studies, prayer, and fellowship with other believers.

We live as new, transformed beings who take advantage of the divine delay by joining in God’s redemptive purposes. We seek to live out our days bearing witness to Jesus, continuing his mission, fighting back the powers of darkness, and hastening the day when those purposes will be fully accomplished.

So, we wait. But we wait patiently, knowing that God is orchestrating all of human history towards His glorious end. We wait with patience, as we join in God’s redemptive mission to make disciples of all people.

    2 Timothy 4:7, 1 John 5:4, James 1:3, Isaiah 40:31, Hebrews 12:1

    1. Ron,

You remind me of a song that has been running through my mind the past day or two. It is written by Chris Tomlin and called “Strength Will Rise” (Link here).

The chorus is “Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord…”

The concept of waiting on the Lord is something you touch on. We are a culture focused on instant gratification, so waiting does not come naturally to us. Yet, as you point out, we wait…” 🙂
